Lead-Time

All products go into production when we process your order. After you press check out, we work to order needed fabrics, and source any metals or glass materials, and hunt for the perfect slab of stone, if applicable. We then also begin to work with our workroom in Los Angeles to make your item(s). 

Our production lead-time is currently 12 to 16 weeks. If your order needs to be expedited, this may be a possibility but we cannot promise shorter lead-times. Email us at hello@itslucci.com for this request. 

Delivery

We only use high quality and reliable delivery partners who are experienced in delivering high value, delicate items. All standard delivery quotes are for white glove service for all items.

Lucci furniture is delivered via our partnered white glove service providers to ensure the best delivery possible. White glove delivery includes inside delivery and the removal of all packaging materials. White Glove delivered items require 3-10 days of handling time prior to transit time.

Products requiring installation such as beds, and art are also delivered via our partnered white glove service.

Decorative objects, lighting, rugs, and material samples are shipped via ground service, unless air is requested. We strive to ship all orders within one business day of product ready date. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has shipped.

At checkout our third-party White Glove Delivery Service quotes delivery charges, and they may be estimates and subject to change once delivery is finalized. Delivery charges are as accurate as possible but, in some cases, there will be additional costs and fees involved, if this is the case we will contact you immediately to clarify the situation. 

Please note, you are responsible for ensuring that items you order can be
delivered to your property, room, or destination of choice, with safe and
reasonable access.

Customer Managed Delivery

If you choose to manage your own freight and delivery, Lucci must be notified of the specific details of the movement such as the desired date of pickup.

The fee to move the product from a manufacturer to a terminal for “customer’s own” pick-up will be added to the balance due. All shipments are moved through a Bill of Lading (BOL) or carrier’s automated delivery system.

The location of the pick-up by the client or the client’s agent may trigger sales tax responsibility at that location.

Ownership of the product transfers to the customer (owner) upon the freight carrier taking possession of the order for transport. Therefore, responsibility for damage occurring in-transit is the owner’s.

International Delivery

For orders outside of the USA, additional costs may be incurred including import duties and taxes. International shipping quotes available upon request. All international shipments require Certificate of Origin.

There is a $50 fee and a 24 hour lead time. Please contact your respective customs office for further information about specific duties and taxes for your country.

In addition, we are required by law to disclose the full value of package contents and cannot alter the value of your invoice or receipt.

Receipt of Product & Inspection

When receiving shipments with a BOL, a signature on the BOL confirms that the products are received in good condition unless exception is made on the BOL.

When receiving parcel deliveries, a signature on carrier automated handheld confirms that the products are received in good condition.

If the merchandise is refused upon delivery for quality or damage issues, the receiver should contact Connate Home immediately.

If the driver must “drop and dash”, the receiver should note on the BOL that any concealed damage of boxed or crated product will be the responsibility of the carrier or the manufacturer as determined upon inspection of the product.

Inspect the cartons or crates carefully. If there is any visible damage to the packaging, note it on the BOL or report to the parcel carrier representative. Take photos of any damage to the packaging, this is necessary to expedite damage claim resolution.

Unpack the cartons or crates. Inspect all merchandise carefully. Cartons and crates should always be unpacked in your presence. Never discard original packaging until satisfied with the delivery.

If you are unable to inspect the merchandise at the time of receiving the shipment, note on the BOL that any concealed damage of boxed or crated products will be the responsibility of the carrier or the manufacturer as determined upon inspection of the products.

Lucci must be notified within 48 hours of any concealed damage that is found. Keep a copy of the BOL. Save the packaging material and take pictures of the damage.

All claims should be reported to our Concierge Team at hello@itslucci.com. However, when appointing their own carrier, client is responsible for filing claims with the appointed carrier.

Product Quality and In-Transit Damage Reporting

Products are inspected by the manufacturer prior to release to ensure that the order is in good condition, complete, and ready for shipment.

The carrier is responsible for a complete inspection of the products at the point of origin. Any damage must be noted on the BOL.

The signed BOL is confirmation by the carrier that they have accepted responsibility for delivering the products in the condition in which they were received. Inspections of the boxed or crated products are limited to the exterior of the packages. Exceptions must be noted and the packages
opened at once if the condition of the cartons or crates appears compromised.

All freight damage claims must be made directly to Lucci within 48 hours of receipt.

If you appoint your own carrier, freight claims must be filed directly with your appointed carrier. Lucci is not responsible for a customer’s own, or third-party, freight damage and claims.

Cancelations

Once an item has shipped, cancellation is not possible.
Furniture, Custom and Special-Order items cannot be cancelled.

Returns & Exchanges

All furniture and rugs sold on Lucci are made to order, custom to you, and can only be returned if deemed to be faulty. Please inspect your purchase immediately upon delivery. If there is a problem with your order, contact us within three (3) days of receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will work with you to make things right.

Do not attempt a return without first having obtained a written authorization.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us and will remain responsible for any and all returned goods until they reach our warehouse.

A traceable return shipping method is required (FedEx, UPS, etc). Returns must be received in original condition and in the original packaging. Credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit back to the original account. Shipping and Delivery Service charges are not refundable.

In the event you have any problem or concern with an order we will connect you with our knowledgeable staff to ensure the issue is resolved to the best of our ability.

Textiles

Keep your textiles pristine with vacuuming or a light brushing, and safeguard them from direct sunlight. To even the wear, rotate and flip cushions when vacuuming. 

If the nap of high pile textiles such as mohair and velvets become crushed or lose originalbuoyancy, gently brush with a delinting brush, and every so often offer a light steaming to lift the material to their original height. 

Please be careful to read instructions on all cleaning products water based, or solvent cleaner may cause discoloration or staining. We highly recommend that stained or soiled textiles be professionally cleaned.

Rugs

Rugs actually do bring a room together. Care for them with sweeping or vacuuming, and shield them from direct sunlight. Occasionally you will want to rotate them for even wear. Water based or solvent cleaners may cause discoloration or staining. We recommend that stained or soiled rugs be professionally cleaned.

Leathers

Leathers are a natural, "living" material that breathe and move as they wear. Soft and porous, they are sometimes uncoated andcan easily absorb liquids and oily substances. Avoid saturating the leather with lotion or water for long periods of time. Also, periodically dust and/or lightly vacuum, and keep away from direct sunlight and heating vents.

Please keep in mind that leathers may patina over time –this is considered to be a natural characteristic. We recommend that stained or soiled leathers be professionally cleaned.

Metals

Metals can last forever, but only when treated properly. Never use cleaners with alcohol or solvents on metals, and only use fine cotton or extra soft cloths when wiping.

We recommend that tarnished metals be professionally cleaned.

Woods & Laquer Finishes

Wood, and Lacquer Finishes Wood and lacquered pieces have been pretreated with stain and/or polish to bring dep th and beauty to each finish. And though most are protected with either a clear coat or wax, they are still susceptible to wear. Dusting regularly with a soft cloth is recommended to maintain shine.

Similar to other natural materials, please do not place near heaters and air conditioning units - this can cause overdrying or exposure to excessive moisture. Avoid extreme humidity changes, as extremely dry air can cause wood to crack and lacquer to lift over time. Do not place nor leave hot or moist objects directly on the wood. Rubber or plastic left on the wood finish can also damage the finish.

Clean by using a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Follow by polishing with a dry soft cloth. Do not use commercial, heavy-duty polishes or waxes, as they can yellow light finishes.

We recommend that stained or soiled wood or lacquer pieces be professionally cleaned or refinished.

Stone

Stone is a natural material, and its markings and color will vary. Classified into two categories, siliceous stone, such as granite and slate, are more durable and relatively easy to clean. However, calcareous stones, such as marble, limestone and onyx, are more porous and sensitive to acidic cleaning products. It is important to note the differences in your pieces.

Our stone tops are always sealed or polished to be stain resistant, but many common foods and drinks contain acids that will etch or dull thesurface of many stones. Use placemats or felt spots under china, ceramics, silver, or any other objects that may scratch the surface.

To clean your stone surfaces, use a soft cloth and a few drops of stone soap or a light detergent combined with warm water. Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film or cause streaks.

Rinse the surface thoroughly after cleaning and dry with a soft cloth. For spills, blot with a soft cloth immediately to prevent the stain from being absorbed by the stone. Flush with water and mildsoap and rinse well. Dry the area with a soft cloth.
We recommend that stained or soiled stone be professionally cleaned by a stone cleaner or a refinisher.

Glass

Glass can be cleaned by wiping with a soft damp cloth or glass cleaner with no additives. Apply glass cleaner to a soft cloth rather than directly on to the fixture to avoid overspray that may damage other finishes.

If you purchase Lucci products, your billing and credit card information will be provided by you directly to our payment processor.  They are only authorized by Lucci to use this information to process your order. Lucci will only receive the credit card type, last 4 numbers of the payment method, transaction date, transaction amount and a transaction ID.

Use of Cookies and Internet Based Advertising

We may use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your device by a web page server. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Lucci pages, or register with Lucci site or services, a cookie helps Lucci to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. CA Transparency in Supply Chains Act

Connate Design LLC, and its various subsidiaries, specifically including Lucci, will be referred to as “the Company” throughout this document.

At the Company, we take responsibility for ensuring that our economic activities support our social and environmental standards. In today’s international marketplace, we have become increasingly aware of our need to ensure that the Company and our agents and vendors treat individuals employed or engaged by them with the highest level of respect and regard for their rights.

Accordingly, we have adopted the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct for our ourselves, our suppliers and agents, and any other suppliers or producers working on their behalf, in relation to the production of goods for the Company (collectively, our “Business Partners”). As a founding member of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), the Otto Group, our parent company, has developed industry-leading initiatives to prohibit human trafficking and slavery that we follow. The amfori BSCI Code of Conduct establishes principles that focus on labor protection and improving the working conditions of workers in the supply chain. Among many other relevant subjects, the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct specifically addresses human trafficking and slavery, stating:

No Bonded Labour: Business partners shall not engage in any form of servitude, forced, bonded, indentured, trafficked or non-voluntary labour1.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES

The Company has taken specific actions to ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct and to ban human trafficking and slavery from our supply chain. For example:

Certification: Business Partners are required to certify in writing that they have read and will abide by the terms of the Code of Conduct. Requirements apply to primary manufacturing facilities and any material suppliers used in the products we purchase. Business Partners must guarantee, and are responsible for acceptance of and compliance with the principles set forth in the Code of Conduct.

Verification, Monitoring and Audit: The Company has embarked on a program to employ a third-party auditor to conduct verification activities to identify, assess and manage the risks of human trafficking in our supply chain and to monitor, audit and ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct. Each direct Business Partner must identify to the Company in writing all production sites used in or tangential to the production of goods or services of any kind for the Company. Then, on a periodic basis, at the Company’s request, each such Business Partner must submit itself and each of its production sites to social audits and/or audits of books and records and/or to a review of its (and its suppliers’) compliance with the Code of Conduct. Such audits and reviews may be conducted by the Company or by its third-party auditor, and may be announced or unannounced. When any non-compliance is discovered, the Company requires immediate remedial action. If a Business Partner is unable or unwilling to comply, or if non-compliance is material or repeated, the Company reserves the right to terminate its relationship with any Business Partner or to require the Business Partner to terminate any of its suppliers working for such partner on the Company’s products or services.

Training: The Company trains its Sourcing team members in our ethics and social responsibility standards. This routine training includes, among other things, a review of our Code of Conduct and sustainable sourcing guidelines, with a focus on mitigating violations and encouraging compliance by our Business Partners.

Internal Accountability: The Company requires prompt notification from its Business Partners of any violation of the Code of Conduct. We follow up on any and all reports we receive, and we strictly prohibit retaliation or discipline of any kind, whether by an associate of the Company or a Business Partner, against any person or entity as a result of making a report or raising a concern about compliance.
